Volunteer Employer Engagement Specialist

We are currently looking for a Volunteer Employer Engagement Specialist to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY
Status: Part-time / Full-time
The role requires a unique ability to provide person-directed employment support while also ensuring a strong focus on building partnerships including community stakeholders who have access to potential job opportunities/hiring.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- HND or degree in marketing, business administration and public relations
- At least one (1) year experience in employer relations, sales and marketing
- Expertise in conducting cold calls and social media is required
- Ability to identify employer needs and expectations, negotiate job opportunities and deliver results that meet the needs of employers and service users
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative as well as work under minimum supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, work independently and within a team setting,
- Strong public speaking and sales and marketing skills is required.
- Ability to negotiate work place accommodation for our job seeker clients
- Strong ability to build and foster professional and cooperative relationships within a diverse work environment and with internal/external stakeholders
- High degree of professionalism, ethics, tact, diplomacy and respect for boundaries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is required
- Skilled in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Presentation and online facilitation experience and ability to navigate virtual platforms such as, Zoom, google meet is considered an asset
- Effective networking skills to build employer relationships is an asset
- This is an Unpaid/Volunteer internship and full commitment is required
