If yes, then try this volunteer opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently looking for a <strong>Volunteer Employer Engagement Specialist<\/strong>\u00a0to join our team!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Status: Part-time \/ Full-time<\/p>\n<p>The role requires a unique ability to provide person-directed employment support while also ensuring a strong focus on building partnerships including community stakeholders who have access to potential job opportunities\/hiring.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND or degree in marketing, business administration and public relations<\/li>\n<li>At least one (1) year experience in employer relations, sales and marketing<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in conducting cold calls and social media is required<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify employer needs and expectations, negotiate job opportunities and deliver results that meet the needs of employers and service users<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to take initiative as well as work under minimum supervision<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, work independently and within a team setting,<\/li>\n<li>Strong public speaking and sales and marketing skills is required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate work place accommodation for our job seeker clients<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to build and foster professional and cooperative relationships within a diverse work environment and with internal\/external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>High degree of professionalism, ethics, tact, diplomacy and respect for boundaries<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills is required<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and online facilitation experience and ability to navigate virtual platforms such as, Zoom, google meet is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>Effective networking skills to build employer relationships is an asset<\/li>\n<li>This is an Unpaid\/Volunteer internship and full commitment is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply, submit your CV and cover letter with the job title in the subject line of your email to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>careers@acesd-ghana.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline date to apply is June 9, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>African Canadian Centre for Employment &amp; Skills Development (ACESD) thanks all applicants for their interest; however only candidates selected to participate in the recruitment process will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you a new graduate with strong public speaking skills and looking to explore a new career?
